The Awakening is Now!

(TRANSCRIPT) - EN

Welcome to our first podcast of the Ark of Noah Pentecostal Church in the city of Ottawa. Today, we have with us Assistant Pastor Steve. So, welcome Pastor Steve. Welcome, good evening, good evening sister Maty. I hope you are doing well. I am doing very well by the grace of God. So before we move on, we would like you to introduce yourself to our listeners. Ok. My name is Steve and I am a child of God, a Christian, and I am an assistant pastor at the Ark of Noah Church. That's pretty much it. Thank you Pastor Steve. So, let's get to the heart of the matter. Our podcast today is called The Awakening . It Yes, I like that. So, what does a spiritual awakening mean to you

Well, a spiritual awakening, simply put, is just to leave the state of sleep and be in a state of awakening. it's just to leave the state of sleep and be in the state of awakening. That's what spiritual awakening is all about? That's what spiritual awakening is all about. So, leaving the state of spiritual sleep and entering into the state of spiritual awakening. So, if I stop here, I would begin by saying, but how do we leave a state of spiritual slumber to move into awakening? How does it happen? That's what's the process? So, how does it happen? That's what's the process? First, in this, it talks about the Holy Spirit. First, in this, it talks about the Holy Spirit. When you read the word of God after the crucifixion of Christ, the word says that the disciples hid.

So, they went into hiding. Why? Because they were afraid of dying. So, they entered in, like, they hid themselves so as not to proclaim the gospel. So, the word of God is saying, when Christ appeared to the disciples, he began to teach the disciples through the help of the Holy Spirit, of course. And after that, Christ ascended. He said to the disciples: ' Wait in the upper room.' So, the spiritual revival, to enter into spiritual revival, it begins through the help of the Holy Spirit. It's a fire that comes from the Holy Spirit. It doesn't start with someone just like that. It starts through the help of the Holy Spirit. It's a fire that begins in the heart.

So, if I understand correctly, I'll bounce off that, it's that the upper room was not just a physical place, it's also like a spiritual place. Yes, the upper room, it's was physical and it's also spiritual. Because the upper room was the place ignited by the fire of the Spirit. So, it is the spiritual place and it is also the physical place. So, it Was ignited by the prayer that the disciples were offering, because they were not just sitting in the upper room counting the stars. They were praying, I suppose. Yes, yes, that is right. Agreed. Indeed. So, my other question would be, why is it important to spiritually awaken today? Today? It is very important, my sister Mathie. We need to understand that the Word of God says that He is coming soon.

We are almost there, I'm not saying that He is coming soon, He is already at the door knocking. So, we must awaken to win. To win more Weapons, for the heavenly kingdom, therefore for the kingdom of God. So, awakening allows us to become aware of our mission on earth. Because Christ sent us as missionaries. So Christ wakes us up, we the church. Church. You must understand that the awakening does not start from the outside. First from the. outside. With the disciples, Christ had to reassure himself before Peter gained 3,000 souls. The fire had to come down in the upper room. Yes. So, the awakening is first the. call from God for His Church, so that the. Church wakes up to win souls on the. outside. That's it. It is.

A very beautiful question, a very beautiful answer. I would have liked to respond by asking: is it the mission of all Christians to be evangelists? It is to. be evangelizers? But I think that will be totally the. subject of. another podcast. Because it would actually be exploring the mission of. a Christian. Because. there is much debate about it. But as we are waking up, it's now. We will stick to it. So, what shows that a person needs a spiritual awakening? What shows that a person needs a spiritual awakening? It's the routine. It's the routine. Why am I helping? When you notice that you are not growing spiritually. How can I say? Your prayer life is not, how can I say? You neglect your prayer life. You neglect your prayer times.

You neglect your meditation times on the Word. You don't have that flame in your heart anymore. You no longer respect your prayer times. You understand a bit, right? Yes, I see some small things. Some small things that you can understand that no, no, no. I ' really need ' a spiritual awakening. Or my sister needs ' a spiritual awakening. But that is confusing. Why am I saying this? It ' is because there are people who are in the dogma of religion. There are people who have prayed. There are people who do not miss their prayers. Who pray five minutes a day and do not ' evolve. But who pray five minutes a day for ten years. And who read the Bible for five minutes for ten years. And who give to charity.

And who do all these little things. But it ' is regulated. But does ' he think that by praying five minutes, he has a routine with his Lord? Why would that be a lack of awakening? And it ' is what I am judged. If I can clarify a bit. In spiritual awakening, we do not control the times of prayer. In spiritual awakening, one does not control the timing of meditations on the Word. One is sensitive to the Holy Spirit. Yes, one is guided by the Holy Spirit. By His presence. So it's kind of like that. This isn't about religion. So how can awakening transform someone's daily life?  That's a good question.  I'm talking about myself first. Awakening transforms me. And it continues to transform me. In my personal intimacy with Christ. So awakening gives you the perfect nature of Jesus. And awakening allows you, awakening allows your flesh to die. So that Christ may be revealed. Do you understand? The flesh dies! That's scary! Awakening allows the light, because Christ tells you He is the light. So awakening allows the light within you to truly take possession of your being. So it is to erase the self that guided you to do things just to satisfy your flesh.

But more focused on the things of God. It is that is, instead of thinking about being selfish. To know how to share. To know how to talk about Christ. To practice the fruits of the spirit. Are we in this time? Yes, it's all there actually. It's the wake-up call. Is it something that will come, that will come from within and then rise? Is it something that we are led to do out of the love of God within us? Or is it something that we will be compelled to do because we believe that we want to appear awakened? Paul's friend is answering the question you just asked. Paul's friend is saying that even if we have the faith to move the mind, even if we perform signs, wonders, and miracles, if we do not have love, if you do not have love, if I do not have love, it is useless. have the love, if you do not have love, if I do not have love, it is of no use. So the motivation or engine of awakening is love. love. It is why God says you shall love your God with all your heart.

Do you understand? Therefore, the foundation or engine of awakening is is love. Ok, so if the foundation of awakening is is love, what are the obstacles that hinder spiritual awakening? Oh, the obstacles that hinder spiritual awakening, excuse me for telling you the truth but it is is the Church. It is the Church that hinders spiritual awakening. The Church as assembly or the Church as the body of Christ? Both. Both? Yes. Do you think it's because we put too many rules in churches? I find that we are getting into routines in the Church that follow the Holy Spirit. So, we will therefore move on to another question that will take it a bit away. What are the practices that will promote a revival? Because the routines of the church are obstacles to revival.

So, what can be done, what practices will ensure that the church can now revive? Thank you so much. In the word of God, the angel of the church of Ephesus speaks to the church. He is saying, ' It that I count for you, it's because you have abandoned the first love. Oh! So, I'm going to talk about the love. So, we must first love God truly, love our neighbor. In the upper room, if there was not the love of the disciples, the fire would not come down. it was not the love of the disciples, the fire would not descend. would not come down. So, God put the disciples together. And to be together, you must love each other to spend more than ten days in the upper room and wait for the fire.

Yes, that's for sure. So, to tell us that first, it's first, it's love. love. It's love. love. So, it's love that reveals that. it's love that reveals that. But when, for example, I go back to the second question. Are the routines that we set up the church is placed there for lack of love? No. No, not even. Not even. They are put to frame things, to avoid the pitfalls of death. Does One thinks that by wanting to avoid pitfalls, we have gone too far? I don't know. It even makes me laugh. No, not even. Not even, my sister Mathis. Even in the time of the disciples, there were regulations. Okay? Even in the time of the disciples, there were regulations. Now, we must not overdo it either. Do you understand?

So, let the Holy Spirit do its work. At some point, truly let the Spirit do its work. That is also the awakening. Okay. So, one last question. How to support others in their own awakening journey? Hmm. Here it is. That's a very good question. The answer to that is in the intercessory prayer. You know, the awakening doesn't start without the intercessors. Do you understand? The awakening, mom, it doesn't start without the intercessors. So, to support someone, someone, I'm going to talk about love, right? Love, right? Yes. You have to love the person. Yes. Secondly, now we need to pray. For the person. For the person. Hmm. Christ said to the disciples, stay in the upper room and pray. Hmm. So, for the fire to come down, the disciple must pray.

For the fire to come into your brother or sister's life, you must intercede. So, that's the ministry of intercession. From love comes the importance of praying. To pray, yes. For the person. Yes, yes. Because without love, even if you pray, heaven will not be opened. Hm. So, are there examples in the scriptures where Christian faith that actually inspires awakens? Hm. Are there biblical examples that support and tell us that yes, we must? Yes. Yes. But, but, but, but, even in the book of Joel. In the book of Joel, it is written: in the last days, says God, I will pour out my spirit. That's the awakening. It's dear. It's dear. It's all dear. Your sons and your daughters will prophesy. It's even these times. The end times. The end times.

It's even this, even the end times. So, what is the final message, for example, to remind people who fear God, people who love God, people who walk with Christ? What is this end message to lead them to the action or awakening? OK. The message, the end message is my sister, my brother, you are doing well, but it is not enough. You pray. It is well. Yes. It is well. But it is not enough. You meditate. It is well. But it is not enough. I strongly believe that God has a plan for us, the children of God, for his creation. In conclusion, my Mathilde, the word says that creation is waiting for it the revelation. Not of Christ, but of sons. Oh yes, yes, Amen. Do you understand? So there, the awakening.

The awakening, it is that it's over, that creation, the world is waiting for us to reveal who we are in Christ. So for that, we must wake up. We must become aware of our identity in Christ. We must become aware of our mission on earth. The word of God calls us ambassadors of Christ. So we must take back our position. One, in love.  Two, in the ministry of prayer, intercession. Three, in brotherly communion. And four, allowing the Holy Spirit to take control of our lives. May God bless you. May God bless you, Pastor Steve. Thank you again. Goodbye. Thank you. Goodbye.
