Podcast Introduction
Host: Welcome to the second episode of our podcast from the Ark of Noah Pentecostal Church in Ottawa. We still have Pastor Steve with us. Welcome, Pastor.
Pastor Steve: Thank you, Mama Maty! How are you?
Host (Maty): I'm fine, thank you.
Today, we’re introducing the title of our podcast: “1, 2, 3, The Awakening is Now!”

Foundations of the Christian Faith
Host: Today's episode focuses on the foundations of the Christian faith. For there to be an awakening, we must first have a solid foundation, right?
Pastor Steve: Yes, that's right.
Host: So, what can you tell us about these foundations? Who is God according to the Christian faith?
Pastor Steve: That’s a profound question. According to the Christian faith, God is our Father. The first thing to understand is that we address God as a Father. While many in the world speak of God as "God," we Christians see Him beyond that. He is not just a distant deity; He is a loving Father to us.
God is also the Trinity: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. Together, they form the divine Trinity.
Host: So, God is our Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. How can someone come to know God?
Pastor Steve: Knowing God is indeed a deep and challenging endeavor. As it is written in Scripture, eternal life is for those who know God. We come to know God through His Word.

God as Father
Host: Why would someone who already has an earthly father seek God as their Father? What’s the difference?
Pastor Steve: That’s an important distinction to make. On Earth, we have biological fathers, which is by God’s design. But spiritually, we also have a Father in heaven.
Our time on Earth is just a mission, a preparation for eternity. After our life here, we will live eternally in God’s kingdom, with our heavenly Father. When we give our lives to Christ, our relationship with our biological father remains intact. However, we also become children of God and experience a spiritual fatherhood that transcends earthly relationships.

Jesus Christ: The Center of the Christian Faith
Host: If God is the Trinity, we often return to Jesus Christ. Why is Jesus Christ the center of the Christian faith?
Pastor Steve: Jesus Christ is the center of the Christian faith because He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life, as stated in John 14:6. No one comes to the Father except through Him.
Jesus is the incarnation of God on Earth, sent by the Father for our salvation. There is no other way to reach God. His life, death, and resurrection form the cornerstone of our faith.

The Life of Jesus as a Model
Host: How is Jesus’ life a model for believers?
Pastor Steve: Jesus’ life is a model for us in many ways, particularly through His love and compassion. He lived among all kinds of people—disciples, sinners, and the marginalized—and ministered to them with compassion and humility.
Everything Christ did, He did out of love. Whether preaching in synagogues, healing the sick, or performing miracles, His actions were driven by His deep love for humanity.

The Holy Spirit: Who He Is and His Role
Host: Who is the Holy Spirit, and what is His role?
Pastor Steve: The Holy Spirit is the third person of the Trinity and the Spirit of God. He reveals God’s hidden truths and leads us into all truth.
Host: How does the Holy Spirit work in the lives of believers?
Pastor Steve: The Holy Spirit works within us, guiding us, comforting us, and empowering us. He helps us prophesy, have visions, and live according to God’s will. Being filled with the Holy Spirit means allowing Him to work within us, producing fruits such as love, patience, and kindness.

The Significance of Jesus’ Birth, Death, and Resurrection
Host: What is the significance of Jesus' birth, death, and resurrection?
Pastor Steve: Jesus' birth fulfills the prophecies of the Messiah, bringing light to the world. His death is a bridge between humanity and God, offering redemption and forgiveness of sins.
The resurrection of Jesus is not just His victory but ours. Through it, we gain eternal life and the promise of becoming children of God.

Closing Reflections
Host: So, to summarize, salvation comes through Jesus Christ, who defeated sin and death to redeem us.
Pastor Steve: Exactly. As John 3:16 says, "For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son." Jesus gave Himself so that we could be saved and have eternal life with Him.
Host: Any final thoughts for our listeners?
Pastor Steve: I’ll leave you with this: Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. What are you waiting for? Give your life to Christ.
Host: Amen. Thank you, Pastor Steve.
Pastor Steve: Thank you, Mama Maty. God bless you all
Host: See you soon!
